Advice on selecting your first doll
Thanks to the DollBanger project, I've fucked over 30 different sex dolls, and there's many more to come. I've also interacted non-sexually with double that number, via photo shoots, events, etc. In all of that, I've learned a few things about sex dolls. The difference between TPE and silicone as different materials, the difference between TPE and silicone quality across different manufacturers, and how much of a creative and quality range there is, just among designers and Asian doll factories, alone. There are dolls that you can pose realistically, that can wiggle around, and moan and even give you a blowjob without you having to do the work. There are textured vaginas, inserts and fixed. Gell breasts, hollow breasts, small dolls, big dolls, heavy dolls, light dolls, the list goes on. But the most significant factor above all that - and this will seem obvious when I say it - when choosing a sex doll, is this:
You must first consider the doll you're most physically attracted to. Literally nothing else matters as much.
I've heard many stories from resellers about dudes that buy a sex doll on price or specs, only to return the doll a week later because they can't get an erection and fuck her - or him, as always for ease of typing I'll refer to the male doll buyer and the female doll, but this goes for any doll and any buyer of a doll, regardless the type.
Features do matter, at a point, but not usually for your first doll. What matters most is, does your doll look like a girl you want to fuck? Face, hair, body, height. Is she hot? Will you drive home 5kms faster because you can't wait to lay her down and give it to her? Or, did you just see a spec sheet and buy the in-stock doll that had the removable vagina because that sounded more practical, and she was on sale? Those are two very different experiences.

The reason I did NOT buy her was simple... she was discontinued. Well, this body was re-designed, as was the face. I didn't like the revised design as much. If all my dolls were magically gone in the snap of a finger, and I could only ever own one doll forever, knowing what I know now, I'd still create the same shopping cart and love my Mikasa for all time.
My tastes aren't your tastes. You might not agree that she's hot as fuck, and THAT's EXACTLY my point.
There are a variety of different doll types, of course. Like my Mikasa above, I first hesitated clicking "purchase" for a day or so, for the dumbest reason in the world. I literally had the thought, "No, look at that doll. She's too exotic and fantasy-like for me. I couldn't possibly!" Luckily I came to my senses.
She was my first doll. But, I ALMOST made a conservative decision, and went for a doll I was less interested in because she seemed more practical. So glad my Mikasa was the doll I finally pulled the trigger on.

I have no idea what features are available for these dolls, I'd have to look them up and talk to a reseller like Rick, but the point is, I want to fuck each one of these cuties! Three VERY different dolls. But, all three, hot as fuck.
Yes, there's a time to look at features. What material you want, how much you can spend, textured this, or gel filled that. It's also important to consider your favourite position to fuck, and is that doll the right doll for that experience. Not all dolls are created equal. But no matter what, it's important you begin with how a doll makes you feel. That will improve your experience by orders of magnitude, over specs and features alone.
Buy the doll you want to fuck. Then, learn everything you can about doll maintenance, upkeep and longevity. Don't hurt your doll and ruin your investment. After all that, hug her, kiss her, develop a bond with her, then fuck her brains out. She'll have fun, and so will you.
